Avoiding bus-bunching in partnership with the Ministry of Transportation
Bus-bunching describes buses that were scheduled to be evenly spaced but end up in the same place at the same time. The goal of this project was to help the Israeli Ministry of Transportation to determine why, where and when bus-bunching occurs, based on data consisting of GPS transmissions of every bus. During the workshop we analyzed the time and geography distribution of bus-bunching. The project is still ongoing.
